Glaze waffles with candied orange
Ingredient:
6 Liège waffles
100gr of dark chocolate
80gr of icing sugar
40gr of butter
1 table spoon of hot water
1 liter of water
500gr of sugar
2 oranges
Preparation:
Candied orange:
Slice 2 oranges into thin slice.
Put the slice in a pan, cover with water, bring to boil.
Drain and repeat a second time.
Add the sugar, water and sliced orange, bring to boil.
Reduce the heat and leave to candied slowly one hour.
Keep the orange in the sirup.
Chocolate icing:
Melt the chocolate and the butter in a double boiler.
When melted, add icing sugar and hot water.
Whip until the mix is smooth.
Glaze the waffle when the icing is still hot.
Dress the candied oranges by removing the excess syrup.
